Grade Level/Discipline: I am a 6th - 8th Middle School Guidance Counselor.
Few Facts about myself:
Fact 1: I live near the Windy City.
Fact 2: I have been teaching face to face and online graduate courses for Performance Learning Systems for many years.
Fact 3: I love working with teachers to learn new strategies to use to reach our students.
Fact 4: I have four daughters and nine grandchildren who live in Phoenix and Seattle.
What I'd like to learn or get out of this course: I would like to find new and better ways to educate our students of the net generation.
My favorite game(s): Othello, Scrabble, and Chess. My most enjoyable time playing games is when I am on Skype with one of my nine grandchildren. (If you don't use Skype, did you know you can add Chess and other games to your iGoogle page and play with your friends and relatives in different locations that way.) When you are a long distance grandma, the way I am, it is important to use technology to reach the grandchildren.
